I am just working my way through module 3 topic 2 on ethics etc. We asked to think about our definition of digital citizenship but I am wondering if that is a concept that is still current in the literature? Are we now more in the age of digital fluency - ie thinking broader than citizenship? Be interested to hear if anyone has thoughts on this.
To answer the question posed in Topic 2, my idea of citizenship of any kind is that which includes contributing as well taking. I therefore prefer definitions that acknowledge the social nature of the concept, with the caveat that these include a duty of care and respect for others.
